First Release of Bearded Vultures into Bulgaria’s Wild Nature

On May 17, 2025, the first release of Bearded Vultures into the Bulgarian nature will take place. The event is part of the "Life for the Bearded Vulture" (LIFE22-NAT-BG-Bearded Vulture LIFE-101113869) project and is the first of its kind, not only within the project, but also in the history of nature conservation in Bulgaria.

The official part and the welcoming of the birds will take place from 12:00 on the stage of Tuida Fortress, Sliven.
