On 30 July 2025 an Information Day, organized by the National Contact Point for the LIFE programme in Bulgaria, was held. The event was dedicated to the current calls for proposals under the LIFE programme for 2025 — the European Commission’s key instrument for funding projects in environment, climate and sustainable energy.
This year, the programme is providing over €600 million for initiatives that contribute to a sustainable, low-carbon and climate-neutral future across Europe. The calls are open to a wide range of applicants including public institutions, private companies, NGOs and academic entities.
During the event, a representative of the Executive Agency for Climate, Infrastructure and Environment (CINEA) presented core information about the programme, the highlights of this year’s calls, and guidance for successful application. The Information Day attracted significant interest: participants from various sectors — national and municipal institutions, business organizations, academia and the civil sector — actively engaged in discussions on the presented topics.
