The LIFE Programme Work Programme for 2025–2027 Was Adopted

On April 15, 2025, the European Commission adopted the work programme for the implementation of the LIFE programme for the period 2025–2027. This programme outlines key strategies, actions, and funding opportunities aimed at accelerating Europe's transition to a clean, circular, competitive, and climate-resilient economy.

The work programme establishes a total budget of €2.3 billion for projects focusing on:
• Circular economy
• Zero pollution
• Nature and biodiversity
• Climate change mitigation and adaptation
• Clean energy

These funds are intended to support innovative initiatives that contribute to the European Green Deal objectives and the EU's environmental and climate goals.
