How does the LIFE programme support the circular economy? Upcoming online training on project opportunities
Circular economy and sustainable waste management are among the key themes in European policies on environmental protection and resource efficiency. How does the LIFE programme support the implementation of projects in this area and what are the funding opportunities?
The answers to these questions will be presented during the next online training of the LIFE information events series "Circular Economy and Waste Management in LIFE: policies, priorities and project opportunities’, to be held on 12 March 2026 at 10 a.m.
During the training participants will get acquainted with the current European policies and priorities in the field of circular economy and waste management, as well as with the opportunities for development and financing of projects under the LIFE programme. The main thematic areas of the programme will be presented, as well as guidelines for the preparation of project proposals.
The event is aimed at representatives of public administration, municipalities, scientific and educational institutions, non-governmental organizations, enterprises and all stakeholders interested in developing projects in the field of circular economy and sustainable resource management.
