The LIFE National Contact Point for Bulgaria has launched a series of online trainings aimed at all organisations and experts planning or considering applying to the LIFE programme in the next calls.
Trainings in February 2026 focused on the key elements of a successful project proposal, from understanding the programme and the EU’s strategic priorities, to financial planning and building a realistic project budget.
The planned trainings for the month are:
• 05/02/2026 – LIFE programme – basic concepts, preparation for the development of a project proposal, operation of the Funding and Tenders portal;
• 12/02/2026 – EU strategic priorities and opportunities for LIFE;
• 19.02.2026 – LIFE Multiannual Work programme 2025-2027;
• 26/02/2026 – Financial planning and budgeting in the preparation of LIFE project proposals.
The series is suitable for both new applicants and experienced organisations wishing to deepen their knowledge and improve the quality of their project proposals. All trainings will be held online, which will allow the participation of a wide range of stakeholders from across the country. Information about the exact times and links for inclusion will be published additionally with separate announcements.

The trainings will be carried out under the project ‘Capacity Building for Promotion, Training, Policy Development and Support in Bulgaria’ (LIFE21-CAP-BG-Life BG PRACTICES), funded by the LIFE programme of the European Commission.
