The Regional Energy Agency of Pazardjik (REAP) is an association of local authorities from Pazardzhik Province. It was established under the Intelligent Energy Europe (IEE) Programme with the support of the Pazardzhik Regional Administration in 2005. REAP is a non-profit association which aims to stimulate the sustainable economic development at local and regional level in various sectors like industry, education, tourism, energy, civil society, etc. The organization represents a body governed by public law, established under the Bulgarian Act for non-profit legal entities. The Association was established with the purpose to support development of policies, initiatives and projects in the area of: - Protection of environment, and water; - Circular economy promotion with the purpose to larger deploy the model at local and regional level; - Climate change issues; - To increase energy efficiency in public and private sectors; - Transfer of good EU practices and development of sustainable policies at local and regional level; - To foster the production of local sustainable RES energy; - To perform training, dissemination, and awareness raising campaigns in different fields which can contribute for sustainable development at local/regional level; - Development, management, and implementation of projects funded by different EU Programmes REAP is an active member of: - The Association of Bulgarian Energy Agencies (ABEA) - EE and RES Committee of the Pazardzhik Regional Administration - Work groups for development of normative documents in the field of energy efficiency of the Ministry of Energy - the Monitoring Committee of OP Rural Development 2014-2020 managed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry - Regional Development Council of South Central Planning Region (NUTS 2 region), responsible for the selection of strategic initiatives and projects at NUTS 2 level, which will be funded by the European structural and investment funds (ESIF)

Регионалната енергийна агенция в Пазарджик (РЕАП) е нестопанска организация, създадена през 2005 г. по програма „Интелигентна енергия за Европа“ на Европейската Комисия с цел разработка и внедряване на проекти в областта на енергийната ефективност и употребата на възобновяеми енергийни източници (ВЕИ). Основните цели на РЕАП са: - Извършване на опростени и детайлизирани обследвания за енергийна ефективност на промишлени системи и създаване на фирмени стандарти. - Енергийно сертифициране на обществени и жилищни сгради. - Насърчаване на енергийната ефективност чрез създаване на стратегии и практики на местно ниво. - Разпространение на най-добрите европейски практики за рационално използване на енергията и възобновяемите енергийни източници. - Участие в международни програми за развитието и финансирането на проекти за енергийна ефективност и ВЕИ. - Разработка, внедряване и финансиране на енергийно ефективни проекти по схемата финансиране с гарантиран резултат. - Осигуряване на информация и обучение в областта на енергийната ефективност и ВЕИ. РЕАП е активен член на: - Асоциация на българските енергийни агенции (АБЕА) - Съвет по енергийна ефективност и ВЕИ към Областна администрация Пазарджик. - Работни групи за създаване на нормативни документи в областта на енергийната ефективност към Министерство на енергетиката. - Комитета за наблюдение на Програмата за развитие на селските райони ПРСР (2014-2020).
