Presentation and recording of the LIFE training on circular economy and waste management

The circular economy and sustainable waste management are among the key themes in European environmental policies. It was on these issues that the last online training of the LIFE National Contact Point series of information events, which took place on 12 March 2026, was dedicated.

Participants had the opportunity to learn about the main policies and priorities of the European Union in this field, as well as the opportunities that the LIFE programme offers to develop projects aimed at more efficient use of resources, prevention of waste generation and promotion of circular solutions.

For all who failed to participate in the event, we publish the presentation and the recording of the training, which can be useful in the development of future project proposals.

The series of trainings of the National Contact Point continues and aims to help potential applicants to better navigate the requirements of the LIFE programme and prepare quality project proposals.

The training was carried out under the project ‘Capacity Building for Promotion, Training, Policy Development and Support in Bulgaria’ (LIFE21-CAP-BG-Life BG PRACTICES), funded by the LIFE programme of the European Commission.
