Second online training of the LIFE series

In the framework of activities enhancing the capacity to participate in the LIFE programme, the National Contact Point organised the second online training in a series of thematic trainings dedicated to the LIFE programme and funding opportunities in the 2021-2027 period.

The training is on "EU strategic priorities and opportunities for LIFE" and will take place online on 12 February 2026 at 10 a.m.

The aim of the training is to present the main strategic priorities of the European Union in the field of environment, climate and energy transition and to show how these priorities are reflected in the structure, thematic scope and calls for project proposals under the LIFE programme. The event will focus on the link between European policies, the LIFE multi-annual work programme and the annual calls, as well as on how the strategic context should be taken into account when developing project ideas and project proposals.

The training builds on the first induction training of the series and is aimed at representatives of public institutions, municipalities, non-governmental organisations, scientific and educational institutions, as well as all stakeholders planning or considering participation in the LIFE programme. No prior experience with the programme is required, but the training will be particularly useful for participants who have already become familiar with the foundations of LIFE and wish to expand their knowledge.
