The deadline for submission of project proposals for technical assistance projects – LIFE Technical Assistance – Replication (TA-R) is approaching

By 27 July 2023, you can submit your project proposals for technical assistance projects – LIFE Technical Assistance – Replication (TA-R)

The main objective of TA-R projects is to facilitate the increase or replication of results financed by the LIFE programme or, where relevant for the implementation of the objectives of the LIFE programme, by another EU-funded programme.

Only proposals in the field of Environment (i.e. Nature and Biodiversity and Circular Economy and Quality of Life) are eligible under this call.

What activities are eligible for funding?

TA-R projects can co-finance activities necessary to:

• preparing for the upscaling and/or replication of the results of previous LIFE projects or other EU programmes in so far as they contribute to the objectives of the LIFE programme.
• facilitating the access of activities contributing to the LIFE objectives to other financial instruments.

As a general principle, all activities included in TA-R projects must be new and complementary to the work undertaken or initiated by the applicant prior to the project, as well as meet the following conditions:

• they must not be a study;
• should not involve legal responsibilities of the competent authority;
• must be completed within the duration of the project;
• must be clearly linked to the objective(s) of the project.

Who can apply?

To be eligible, applicants (beneficiaries and affiliates) must be legal persons (public or private bodies) and established in one of the eligible countries:

• EU Member States (including Overseas Countries and Territories (OCTs))
• Non-EU countries: − listed EEA countries and countries associated to the LIFE programme (associated countries) or countries in the process of negotiating an association agreement, provided that this agreement has entered into force before the signature of a grant contract for the project.
