The European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency will publish the LIFE calls for 2026

The European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) has published information on the upcoming launch of LIFE calls for proposals for 2026.

LIFE calls for this year are expected to be published on 21 April 2026 in the Funding & Tenders Opportunities Portal. They will cover all LIFE sub-programmes and reflect the current strategic priorities of the European Union in the fields of environment, climate and energy transition.

To support the preparation of applicants, CINEA will organise online information days LIFE 2026 (#EULIFE26 Info Days), which will take place from 28 to 30 April 2026. During the events, the priority topics of the individual sub-programmes will be presented, guidelines will be given for the preparation of project proposals and there will be an opportunity to ask questions to the experts of the European Commission. Registration for Information Days will be open from 2 March 2026.

The LIFE National Contact Point encourages all interested organisations to follow the published information and start preparing their project ideas in a timely manner. In the coming months, the NCP will continue to provide up-to-date information, as well as to organize information days and trainings to support potential applicants under the programme.
